Question regarding Double reverse spin: i (leader) was told at my dancing lessons to not set my left foot down until the Start of the next bar (so 2 and 3 on right foot rotating). However on this chanel sometimes a fast 2-a-3 is danced by the leader aswell. Is this then a different figure?

Greetings Eglis. The ladys double spiral after lady does counter promenade run to mans right side looks similar to samba syllabus Istd 3 step turn. Is this correct? Di you call it double because ladyy starts turn as a left spiral on right foot and end as spiral on first 'S" then small step fwd on left foot as "a", then 2nd spiral on right foot as "S". Here lady ends in 2nd spiral with left leg wrapped around right foot ready to do lock step fwd with left foot? I am very interested in this double spiral step because my partner and I are working on developed/advanced promenade counter promenade runs, where lady does left spiral for promenade run on right foot, while man turns lady with right to right hand hold positon and man ends doing his counter promenade run. I end the spiral with right foot fwd in deep press line lounge position. This is very dificult to do especially to real speed samba music. So i am considering doing your spiral step without the spiral ending but take small step fwd on right in order for me to be on time to next do my counter promenade run and man does promenade run. I do also like your routine how you start the promenade runs and how you use the promenade runs for lady to do double spiral step to side by side lock step with man as patticake. I would appreciate any detail tips you can give me greatly. Thank you, Regina

Greetings Eglis, excellent video! My partner likes to do the step back to 2 steps of curved feather, to outside spin after tumble turn. Is this valid? Also, I notice from demo in doing 2 steps of curved feather man steps diag fwd with left foot and then steps fwd outside partner with right foot. Are these 2 steps to be curved to right for man as in conventional curved feather? My partner does curved feather like feather finish, but curves to left the 2nd step of curved feather. I also see that at end of curved feather ladys hips and shoulders are still facing mans hips/shoulders. So can the 2 steps of curved feather be more to right? I know that your video shows doing curved 3 step to back step to curved feather, so is the execution and shaping same if done after tumble turn? My partner does tumble turn as feather, reverse turn (lady heel turn) then tumble turn. I know i asked many details and appreciate whatever you can tell me about doing tumble turn, to back step, 2 steps of curved feather. Thank you greatly for your time and videos! Regina

Why after scatter chasse to left you do tipple chasse to right? I understand that tipple chasse to right is sqqs qqs, where man goes back on left foot on slow, first then do the tipple chasse section, qqs, then do a forward lock qqs. Since man has right foot free why not do tipple chasse to left group sqqs qqs as man goes forward on slow first then do tipple chasse section qqs, then do back lock qqs? To me tipple chasse to left brings man moving towards line of dance or diagonal center. The way you seem to direct the forward lock step for man, he is travelling diagonal against line of dance. Please explain reason for using variation of tipple chasse to right and not use the true chasse to left instead ? Thank you, I love your videos and have learned greatly from you! Regina
